Hey everyone. How are we all?
I didn’t manage to post yesterday as I was having a bit of a bad mental health day. It happens! I’m feeling a bit better today so I’ll do two posts to make up for it, not that anyone’s counting…
This is a passing shot of a lesser celandine (Ficaria Verna) I saw down amongst the moss and grass along a woodland path near my house. In the past it was said that celandines could be used to predict the weather because they close their petals just before it rains. I think this one hadn’t yet opened them for the first time, it didn’t rain anyway!
Thanks for visiting,
Kaylin x
