#53 Fledgeling Dipper

Hey folks, hope we’re all well ๐Ÿ™‚

This beautiful little ball of floof is a fledgeling white-throated dipper. Aren’t they gorgeous? The adults have a black body with a white throat and some brown colouring on the head, but the babies haven’t quite got all their colour through and have the lovely patterns on the wings.

I’ve been down to the local river a lot recently to try and get some shots of these little guys and some of the other resident birds, and have been watching this little one and their siblings doing ‘dipper training’ a lot. They’re adorable birds in general, but I hadn’t seen the young ones until now.

Thanks for visiting,

Kaylin x
