#18 Bloom

Hello, how are we all today?

Some more black and white flowers today – wild garlic, or ramsons as they’re also known. The wild garlic flowers are just starting to bloom and all along the local river and the woods is the lovely smell of them.

I’ve already made some wild garlic pesto, and eaten it all! I’ll definitely be making as much as I can to try and last me through the year, I absolutely love it. If you’ve never tried it you should, it’s very easy to make and so tasty. Any woodland, especially near water should have plenty growing. I even used to pick some from the local parks when I lived in the city.
